We had a great gig at Kumpula Festivals last saturday :) So thanks to everyone who came and to all the voulenteers that made the festival happenAnd i must say this was the best serving at a backstage EVER, the food was just so good!! and of course the drinks to ;)
And now we are getting ready for tomorrows show in London, We have a super early wake up around 5cause we need to be at the airport the latest 7 , then off we Fly :)The gig is tomorrow evening , Supportin JettBlack at the borderline!! yeeeah can´t wait :) I heard the venue is sold out so that´s super cool!*Niki*
Hope everybody had lots of nice gifts from Santa ;) The band has been busy writing songs for the new album and recording demos in the studio before Christmas. So you could say we’ve had more stuff to do than the Santa’s little elves! We can’t wait for you guys to hear the new stuff, it’s going to blow your minds to another dimension!!

Well, as I was about to say when the evil internet monster attacked me and wiped away all of the text I wrote in the last message: Barbe-Q-Barbies is about to release a brand new music video of the song Twisted Little Sister! The video will be released hopefully in June, and we’ll be posting it like hell all over the internet (so basically you can’t miss it, heh). The video was shot in a mental institution in Helsinki, Finland, called Lapinlahden sairaala (The Lapinlahti Hospital). The whole day was awesome, the set was magnificent (we shot the video in the closed department of the hospital, which was built in the 1840’s) and all of the people who participated in making of the film were totally the best and we owe a huge thank you to all of them (you definitely know who you are…) ;) We are also planning to arrange a premiere party, where all of you get to see the video as soon as the post production is finished! so, what’s new? Well, a couple of things: we’re about to film a new music video! The location for the video is in Helsinki, but the rest will remain for you guys to see once the vid is out!
We’re also working on new material, and we’re about to do some demos in May. The new songs will totally kick some serious rock butt, so until our next album is out, be sure not to miss our gigs ‘cause who knows: we might suprise you guys with a couple of new tunes!

Yeee-haaa! We had a blast filming our very first music video last Friday in Ylojarvi, north of Tampere. The band and all of the crew was exhausted, yet happy once we got THE take at 2 o’clock in the morning… A great big thank you to everybody and to the rest of you, keep an eye out on the upcoming video of SPELL! xxx Kaisa
